It’s works but slow

This thing rocks I know going in that it was only 6x. 6x is slow thats truth not opinion. That’s the only things negative I can say about it. I have successfully archived 1100 movies and countless cds and it’s still kicking.

Very poor tech support

It is virtually impossible to get the link to software supporting blu-ray output. Software company, Cyberlink , essentilly disowns any responsibility. Otherwise, for plain old dvds and CDs, it's okay.

Not straightforward for Macbook

Used on 2021 Macbook pro for the purpose of watching blu-ray. The drive only has recommendations for PC software to support it and therefore need to do some research yourself to figure out what software to download so it works with Apple laptops. Not straight forward or "plug and play" as described
