Does everything an Ethernet cable should do. I chose the snagless model for use with a pair of SONOS speaker stands that I recently purchased. These stands have an integrated channel for hiding the cable. The hood at the base of the connectors prevents the connector latch from becoming caught as you thread it through the channel. Since the hood covers the end of the connector latch, it is a bit more difficult to disconnect the cable from the Ethernet port. You must press hard enough to deform the hood to move the connector latch down. That is the only downside that I see.

Loved this product- Used it to run a line through my attic to connect a switch to the wall plate ( and another switch). No problems with this going through interior walls or attic and had a thick enough covering to not have to worry about pulling on the cable a little bit to get it neat. No lag noticeable through the cable - i did loose about 10ms through the switch maybe less but that was to be expected.

This cable works pretty well for internet, Wii internet and watching (netflix, amazon) roku programing. The signal travels a lot further than our wireless connection, it's great if you have a huge dead zone like we have in our brick house. This cable is much sturdier than some of the cheap cables. The actual gray covering to the wire, does not split or shatter, I had this one for years and only had to replace it because we would have to take the cord out of my computer and put it into my tiki and eventually the connector broke, would still carry a single, but I would have to giggle it to keep it working. I had it for 5 years, the replacement cord split within weeks of getting it. I tried to repair it and at the end it was more electrical tape than wire and we only had it for a few short months. If you don't have to keep moving it to other devices, I'm sure it will last even longer for you.

Having read several bad reviews I was hesitant to buy a "cheaper" no name brand of CAT cable for my home office. I opted to spend a bit more and go with Belkin. The cable arrived in good shape. It appeared slightly cheap in appearance but did not crimp or break when bent. I ran the cable up to my home office from a lower level and the cable worked the first time connected and is going strong 1 month later. No complaints.
