Overall, this laptop is a great unit, seems well built and in my opinion, has better build quality than most other gaming laptops in it's price range, a great "middle of the road" build and spec. the AMD dGPU in this unit is solid, performance wise, it's roughly somewhere between an RTX 4060 to 4070 depending on the game and the cards TGP. Unfortunately though, I had to send this laptop back due to issues with battery life.. After doing a bit more research on this issue I realized that the Ryzen 7 7435HS Processor this model comes with is the culprit of my problems. First of all, AMD's number scheme is a bit misleading, in order to tell what generation this processor is you must look at the 3rd number, which means that this is a previous 3rd gen CPU architecture with some minor updates, so it's not quite as efficient as it could be (compared to newer generation CPU's in the Ryzen series from AMD). My second issue I discovered is that this processor doesn't have a built in GPU, or "iGPU" as it's called, it only comes with a Dedicated GPU or "dGPU". While this is fine if you leave your laptop plugged in all the time, the minute this laptop is on battery power, you are extremely limited. Battery life is a joke (I got around 1.5-2.5 hours max, task dependant, on Balanced settings, no gaming) due to the less power efficient CPU and because it also has no iGPU, you have no choice but to use the dGPU for everything.. Most gaming laptops (with both an iGPU and dGPU) will allow you to use the Integrated Graphics for basic tasks like web browsing, video watching or even light gaming to help extend battery life, but with this laptop, that's not possible due ASUS' choice of CPU. I'm assuming this was down to cost cutting to meet a price range they needed to. TL:DR - Great laptop for anyone who just wants a well built gaming laptop (the AMD dGPU in this is solid, performance wise, somewhere between a RTX 4060 to 4070 depending on the game) that they plan to keep on the charger indefinitely, or rarely use without being plugged in, otherwise, try another model.

So far, i really like this laptop. Everything is as it should be. Works really well. I high recommend.
