Great dual option portable router for travel. You can operate via hotel WiFi or Ethernet connection and create private protected hot spot to connect and use your phone or laptop without fear of compromise.

Very small router for travelling. No bell and thing you don't need. Half the size of the one I replaced, wide like my phone, half the length, just a little thicker. It easily connect to my home VPN ( not required...) Create a wifi in the hotel room, car or where ever you are. you just connect it and all the kids phone and pad can connect to it without having to configure the hotel information on each one. Need internet connected to it (usb, wifi, or network), title might a little misleading it's not a 5G hotspot. there is a home version of this witch is probably stronger but mainly bigger and pictures of both are mixed up on the internet. It's not big like some are showing.

I have two. One is connected for use at home and offers good flexibility in "farming out" devices and the second I use for daily traveling. My issue is the speed needed for video streaming. There is constant buffering that makes viewing video content difficult. It's a nice item...👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I am used to using Asus routers and bought this for its small size and AX speeds. Usually, Asus routers have a very nice app and comprehensive features. I assumed this would be like the AX57go portable router which was basically a full featured router in a small package. However, This one isn't as comprehensive and loses a lot of features, at least with current version of firmware. Pros: I tested it in WISP mode and it works well connecting to another WIFI signal. Limitations: -Doesn't support wireguard as far as I can tell. Only has OpenVPN, and surfshark. -I couldn't get the USB port to recognize a thumb drive for file sharing. This may not be supported. -The asus mobile app doesn't seem to recognize the router, so you are left with changing setting from a browser web page. -The web page has limited settings and features, which is different than typical asus routers. Overall, if you want a small, basic travel router, this would work. There are more feature filled travel routers for the same price, though.

I got this for a holiday so that it would be easier for my friends and I to connect to wifi and it is making my life so much easier!! Not only do we have to log in only once, we also get a VPN so we can watch our shows and use our services like we were at home. And for when I'm not on holiday it makes printing on the go that much easier!! Cause I can use it with my portable printer!! Highly recommend for the travelling kind!!
