This is the first laptop ever that I consider to be a true GADA ("Go-Anywhere-Do-Anything") machine! It is the only laptop available that meets all my needs in one machine (as a small business owner and healthcare clinician). Pros: 1. It's remarkably portable for a gaming laptop -- it's lighter than a Macbook Pro 14, so I carry it around everywhere daily, and from room to room to see patients. 2. It's great looking -- CNC machined aluminum chassis that I'm proud to rock at meetings. 3. It's great for productivity -- the keyboard is comfortable (superior to my Mac) and the trackpad is precise. Palm rejection has been flawless. It's quiet enough that I can't hear it in normal productivity use. 4. It's a legit gaming machine with high framerates (!) 5. Battery life for productivity work is long enough that I run out of attention span before the laptop runs out of battery. Cons: 1. The trackpad is a bit stiffer than necessary if you click in the middle instead of in the lower corners. I wish for a haptic trackpad ideally. 2. There is a fairly sharp edge along the spine of the laptop when closed that makes it less comfortable to hold there when carrying it around. 3. White/silver option not available in Canada! That's it. I can think of no other cons aside from those three nit picks. I really love this machine. If you're on the fence, I say just buy it.
