Great laptop

The laptop kept doing sudden auto shutdowns even after I made sure everything was updated, and after every single shutdown the only way to get it running again was to reinstall Windows. I spent about 85% of my time reinstalling Windows, before it would do a forced shutdown again. I found comments online on several different websites after I purchased it, of others having the same issue and no possible fix, so I returned it.

This laptop is sweet! It's got plenty of power and speed. Love the mini display for programming. Touch screen is a nice touch ;) Just make sure you let it download all the updates from Asus and Windows, it takes about an hour but after it's stable, cool and works great. No complaints!

Best there is.. All the people complaining, have no idea how to use a gaming laptop and it shows. Smh.

I really liked this laptop, especially the two-screen feature. However, the AMD CPU runs really hot. When idle, it may go up to 80C, and 90C when watching YouTube. When gaming and running stress tests, the CPU could be 100C, which means the CPU is thermal throttling. Overall, my CPU temperature is 10C-15C higher than other people's Zephyrus Duo 16s. Interestingly, the GPU works fine mostly except when both CPU and GPU are stressed, as the GPU is negatively influenced by the high CPU temperature. It could be because the liquid metal is not fully covering the CPU due to a manufacturing fault. I contacted ASUS and they said it was a hazardous situation and recommended me to send it back to ASUS for further inspection. But if I choose to do that, I won't be able to return it back to AMAZON if ASUS fails to solve the issue. Therefore I had to make a return here, unwillingly. I feel really sad. Think twice when you decide to purchase a laptop that uses liquid metal.
