asus has always and will always be trash. this keyboard is times more expensive than it should be, and the bluetooth stopped pairing within a week and no longer connects to my android. im sticking with logitech for future buys

I tried a lot of keyboards but this new low-profile keyboard provides the best typing experience. I bought the blue switch. It is clicky but not loud.

Purchase Reason: TLDR: The reason I purchased this keyboard was because I was looking for an upgrade to my high-profile keyboard to a keyboard that would do well with fast-typing, coding and gaming. However, the software experience made this impossible, which obliged me to return the product. Important Factors: The three most important factors for me were: easy to type, customizable colors (for gaming), remappable keys (for coding). The keyboard was able to meet only 1 of 3 of these standards, that being easy to type. It is a well built keyboard with an awesome touch panel installed that made it easy to change volume, pause media, etc on the fly. The low-profile keycaps were the best I’ve ever experienced and the keyboard itself was amazing. The reason I am leaving such a low review is because of the terrible software experience that this keyboard forces you to go through. Return Reason: Amoury Crate is the software required to use for this keyboard, and has very limited customizable colors – there are only 12 – 15 preset lighting effects to choose from. The software requires you to download Aura Creator (another ASUS software) in order to create customizable lighting features similar to that of iCue for corsair keyboards, or literally any other keyboard software ever for any other keyboard. The problem is Aura Creator would always crash on startup and never run for more than 3 seconds, unless you disable LightingService.exe which comes installed with Armoury Crate. Now, with LightingService disabled, Aura Creator runs just fine, except it doesn’t detect your keyboard at all until you restart LightingService. The best part is when you start LightingService back up, Aura Creator instantly crashes again. So, outside of the 12 presets, customizable lighting is impossible. My third and final straw that urged me to return this keyboard is coding. As a software engineer, I write loads of code each day, and use many remappable keys with the Fn layer. This is important as I only use 60 – 65% keyboards, so some keys physically do not exist on the keyboard unless remapped to a Fn button. With Armoury Crate, it is impossible to both rebind the Fn key, and to remap keys to the Fn layer (meaning pressing Fn and another button simultaneously). So again, Armoury Crate was the reason key remaps were impossible. It was, however, possible to remap regular keys such as remapping your ‘E’ key to ‘G’. But then you lose the ability to type ‘G’ ever again, which I find was a useless feature.

Very nice keyboard and key switch. Giving lots of option to control your media, volume and many more. Easy to setup and key switch is very nice to press on it. Smooth keycaps. Definitely a good purchase for this Asus ROG Falchion RX Low Profile.
