Asrock Riptide Intel B760 LGA 1700 DDR5 Micro ATX Motherboard

Had to edit this comment when I realized my fan problems came from the fan itself. I used the CPU cooler that came with an i5 I put on this mobo. They installed the fan too tight to the sink and it pinched the wires. This caused erratic fan behavior and most of the time a real slow speed. After fixing this issue everything works great now and the fan control responds perfectly. Haven't seen any problems following that little mishap where Intel's fan almost caused me to destroy the processor. [I like this mobo but so far I've had problems with the fan speed control. I haven't been able to control any of the fan speeds using the utility so I currently have the CPU fan running full speed without the control pins. Bit annoying but I can deal with it I guess. My intel CPU fan went full blast just giving it a separate 12v so it's something going on with with the board supply.. though I'm not 100% sure the intel fan wasn't part of the problem. I noticed the negative wire was pinched down onto the heatsink (came that way) but I'm not sure if continuity there would be a problem anyway. Sometimes the fan would erratically changed speeds for no reason. Sometimes seemed like it would work well, but then trail off to slow speeds during high usage which led to the 100C throttling. Lucky it didn't burn my CPU out.]
