It works great with my new build, The only issue I have had was with the automatic driver update but I did it manually and it worked fine. also note THIS IS A WIFI 6E MOTHERBOARD!

This is a review for the B850m-X Non-Wifi, the "successor" to the B650m-HDV. As I do not own the Wi-Fi version, I cannot speak on if the chip is MediaTek, etc., but it usually is some sort of MediaTek Wi-Fi chip that is sold across the ASRock lineups; you may be able to Google it. I've attached a photo where I am unable to run this board at 8000 MHz with 2×24 GB Teamgroup Expert M-Die. This means the board does at least qualify for the 8000 MHz mark, especially reboot stable in my case. I didn't have to type in ODTs/etc., and the board takes its own sweet time rebooting—which was still faster than the HDV and other brands in my experience, with memory context restore off, etc. The timings and such are still being tightened; however, it's been stress tested on Y-Cruncher VT3/FFT, TM5 Usmus3, Karhu, and Memtestpro for over 3 hours each while being in a case with a looping stress test. As with Asrock, their BIOSes are fairly clean and are straight to the point—maybe not as modern as Asus or MSI's. There are no compatibility problems with any CPUs I am aware of; there is one point I would like to bring out for those who want to go further: The board does not support PBO advanced/manual. You are only able to "enable" PBO and use the presets; however, if you are using the 9800×3D, you cannot manually use PBO to set a higher overclock on the cores or negative voltages. Hence the rating I gave to the board; I indeed contacted Asrock, and you can even use other software to manually do PBO, but it's not really worth it, IMO. Asrock declined it so far, but they may change it by this review. There does not seem to be any throttling for a 9800x3d, temperature or power wise. Performance is on par, if not slightly better than other boards past the 250$ mark in my experience (Tomahawk/Asus Strix series). There are no problems with the board or BIOS except for what I mentioned above; it's the "go ahead" motherboard for those needing a relatively cheap and 'what you need' feature set. Because of my own experience, I would suggest Asrock over other brands primarily because of the reboot speeds, a fairly easier overclocking experience, and value. I hope Asrock will take a listen on unlocking PBO and setting up other future boards just like this!

Buena placa por lo que cuesta. Conectores más que de sobra y en mATX es complicado encontrar calidad. Tienen una función para actualizar la bios, incluso sin procesador conectado. Ahora mismo funcionando con un Ryzen 7 9700X y memorias CORSAIR DDR5 6000 CL30 sin problemas. Es cierto que la zona de alimentación se calienta un más que otras placas con el mismo chipset. Pero nada preocupante. Por poner una pega. Las conexiones SATA, serian más cómodas si fuesen todas horizontales en vez solo la mitad. Y solo trae un disipador para el conector M.2 principal. Para los otros dos no tiene disipador.
