Das Kabel ist zwar verwirr-sicher, aber hat nach einiger Zeit Kontaktprobleme und kann nicht mehr zum telefonieren benutzt werden.

Good cable, but not genuine

The cable works well, and looks like it is made well. However, the one I received does not have the APC logo or part number on it, so I suspect it is a knock-off. If true, then it is over-priced, since APC sells the genuine one for less than it sells for here.

Didn't fit my apc. I needed a male end this is female.

Worked for my application

I needed this 'smart' cable to connect an APC SMT1500C via Modbus driver to a SuperMicro board running pfSense in order to utilize the apcupsd server package. The USB port on the SMT1500C went to a NAS so I needed pfSense to shutdown my LAN workstations running the apcupsd client in a power outage and this did the trick. Only downside was paying $24 for APC's proprietary cable that's not included with a ~$500 UPS but aside from that I'm happy.
