...owners should have tentacles not arms and fingers as releasing the front panel to mount the front fan and 5.25" accessories like dash boards, 2.5" hotswap docks etc is a nightmare as the upper two clips are not reachable by anyone with normal fingers. Took me a good 30minutes of sweat and frustration to get the clips released. Well done Antec design dept. A 3.5" drive or card reader can not be mounted properly as the front screw mounting cannot be accessed, what would it have taken to provide an access hole? This case could be used as a server case or media-centre and it has attractions for that use. Although in that deployment the 7 expansion slots available would possibly be wasted. The main reason I purchased the case is as home for numerous 3.5" HDD. Having them all inside a case seemed a good move. At a stroke condensing the number of docks I have, which seem quite hit or miss as far as reliable connection s concerned. Just make sure that you can 'spin down' the drives when they are not in use, not all HDD are able to do this. Remember that with the full complement of HDD installed the case will be a challenge to move. Fitting my ATX motherboard was a mild struggle and I would recommend that a fully modular power supply is used, if you want a tidy install. Although smaller boards would slide in easily but |I am not aware of a m-ATX with seven PCI-e expansion slots and 6 SATA sockets. Overall a reasonable case there are better but finding one with lots of expansion potential may have the potential purchaser hunting through lots of other potential homes for their hardware. There are a few useful access ways to allow cabling to be hidden behind one of the removable side covers, which controls part of the birds nest of leads. Although the available space is not the most generous as most cables are circular in section which reduces the space further. . Overall this case has potential but it is not the best unless you need to home numerous HDD.

This is a well built, solid case. Has a lot of space in it as well as a lot of good places to run cabling to the back side to keep things looking clean. My rating is for my particular use though. I was looking for a case that would hold 6 x 3.5" drives and I didn't look very closely and just purchased it. Good brand name and the specs on paper were what I needed. The problem is that the HDD bays in the main section of the case are not fully usable. They say you can put 2 drives in the little mounted cages. You can but if your CPU cooler is too big and you need to use that 2nd pcie slot as your main slot for your GPU, the cages block 2/3 of my ASUS TUF 3070's fans on my ASUS TUF x570-PRO motherboard. There's maybe 1 or 2mm between the card and the HDD enclosures. I managed to get things going by keeping the old GTX 970 card in there for now while I get a smaller cooler. My next problem now is that apparently the space for the last 2 x 3.5" drives is somehow mounting them on top of these HDD enclosures!! That's not very realistic as that takes up even more space I don't have so I can't connect my 5th drive right now. The other problem is that the cables plug into the HDDs in this enclosure from the side closest to the motherboard. There is not enough space to plug in the power cables into the drive and be able to mount the cages back into the case. The cable rams into the motherboard and it's impossible. I flipped the enclosure around but then you can't use the screw to properly secure the enclosure to the case. You also can barely close the side of the case because the cables stick out a bit and are messy in this position. I really don't understand how the 2 enclosures inside the main space in the case could possibly be used in this design and the instructions are less than minimal. I don't know why they didn't add a 2nd set of HDD trays next to the other on the rear side of the case. I think it would have fit and been a lot less of a pain. I wish I would have bought a different case but I will try and make it work somehow I guess. If you only have 2 x 3.5" HDDs and 2 x 2.5" SSDs, this case will be great for you and you can ignore my review. The case seems really good otherwise.

Un case senza troppe pretese, perfetto per configurazioni low budget e anche qualcosa di più. 🔎 ESTERNO: molto sobrio con una striscia colorata anteriore che spezza un po' il mono tema nero, pannello in plexiglass montato bene, piedini in plastica con striscetta in gomma antiscivolo, filtro anti polvere per alimentatore e ventole frontali. 🔎 INTERNO: Complessivamente ha una struttura abbastanza rigida, anche se il supporto per le ventole/radiatore frontale è un po' sottile e quindi flette leggermente. Una volta montato però non ci sono problemi. Gli spazi interni vanno più che bene. Posteriormente alla scheda madre c'è abbastanza spazio per far passare il cavo da 8 pin della cpu e ciò che sono le appendici degli altri cavi che non sai mai dove piazzare. Nella parte più profonda - lo spazio dove ci sono i fori laterali per passare davanti e gli SSD - c'è abbastanza spazio per creare un fascio bello spesso e ordinato di cavi. Montando un SSD nello slot inferiore però le cose si complicano un poco, perché i connettori dello stesso vanno proprio in mezzo al fascio di cavi citato prima. Nel mio caso disponevo solo di un SSD e, montandolo nello slot superiore, ho ovviato al problema. La gabbia degli HDD (da 2 slot) è possibile muoverla avanti e indietro a piacimento molto facilmente, grazie alle viti - svitabili a mano - presenti sul fondo del case, il che rende il case adattabile ad alimentatori più grandi o comunque facilitare l'aggiunta di cavi modulari quando è già fissato al case. Tutti sappiamo che è praticamente impossibile aggiungere cavi modulari dopo aver montato l'alimentatore. Tuttavia spostare la gabbia degli HDD in avanti potrebbe non essere possibile, in quanto va ad occupare - qualora ci fosse - lo spazio della ventola/radiatore frontale. Quindi valutate bene il mix tra alimentatore/radiatore/ventole che avete. Pecca sono i copri slot espansione pci che vanno staccati prima di montare la scheda madre perché da piegare all'interno e non sono rimontabili. Tuttavia in bundle ne vengono forniti 3 extra avvitabili. Non ho pienamente compreso la scelta di predisporre 8 standoff o distanziali per una scheda madre ATX e poi mettere il nono nel sacchetto delle viti... o non li metti per niente, o li metti tutti in base al formato che scegli e non una via di mezzo. Tra l'altro le istruzioni di montaggio non ti dicono quali viti usare dove. Ce ne sono di 3 tipi, quindi magari conviene fare dei tentativi prima mettere le mani dentro al case. 📦 BUNDLE: Estremamente basilare comprende: - Copri slot espansione (3) - Ho apprezzato la scelta di fornire in bundle fascette in velcro (4) - Viti varie - Ventola da 120mm preinstallata sul retro 👍 PRO: Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, buoni spazi per chi ha determinati tipi di config che non comprendano l'uso massimo di cavi e periferiche, buona rigidità. Esteticamente gradevole se non vi piacciono cose pacchiane. 👎 CONTRO: Come avete potuto leggere ce ne sono diversi che però vanno considerati in relazione al prezzo che stiamo pagando. L'airflow non è il massimo in quanto al top non ci sono prese d'aria per montare ventole e al front ci sono ma sono comunque piccole, quindi evitatelo per configurazioni di fascia alta. Del resto il prezzo stesso (49€ quanto l'ho pagato) fa bene intendere il tipo di build a cui è indirizzato.
