Aluratek USB 3.0 Multi-Media Card Reader (AUCR300F)

Major points to this company for designing a reader that is connected to a short wire. If it was designed like other reader that DON'T have a wire, then you'd be taking up multiple USB ports because of how wide it is. Also, it is FAST BUT it seems to top out at 95MB/s. Disappointed in that honestly.

Product will not read phone sim card as advertised.

We loved how little it was and could still accomodate having different sized ports. Easy to use. Just what we needed!

Came in perfect condition and worked great!

This thing is AWESOME! I bought two other card readers, both of which died. One plugged directly into the USB (without a cord) and it overheated (because I left it in all the time). This one, I have left plugged in all the time, and it has not overheated in a few weeks now, and I use it a LOT to read the photos from my Nikon and Canon. This is the fastest card reader I have ever used, and for the price, you simply can not beat it :) I have included a picture of the device in action! I use 2 Amazon Basic USB Hubs (also awesome!), and I plugged the Aluratek into the HUB without a noticeable loss of speed. Also notice my rescue Kitty Bernadette is protecting me from nefarious hackers! :) I usually don't write a lot of reviews, but this thing deserves it! :)
