If you're looking for a large display with super-simple setup this is GREAT. It looks like a giant tablet but has a simpler OS. - doesn't require an app, wifi or sign-in; can run from a usb flash drive - plays and loops automatically without setup - can copy the usb images or video to local storage I'm using it with a video presentation loop on a trade show table. * Note that - it's designed to hang on a wall, no stand - it doesn't run on batteries, turns on when plugged in - it has a sleep button on the back

I purchased the Aluratek 17.5" Digital Picture Frame to supplement the NIX 17 inch frame I purchased a few years ago (and is no longer available). The Aluratek frame has a narrower viewing angle than the NIX frame and the picture quality, while acceptable, is not as good as the NIX frame. The thing I dislike the most is that when a picture in portrait orientation is displayed (with the frame in landscape orientation) then unused part of the screen is not black but rather some sort of blurred version of the picture.

This is the second Frame I've purchased now. First one package was opened and there was a line across the screen. I thought id take another chance and order another one. Same thing, opened the Box and it has been opened before and re sealed. your better off to walk into a store to buy brand new. Don't waste your money on these used ones. really disappointed this was a Christmas gift Jeff

This was easy to load and the pictures look beautiful

The set up was difficult, but I am so happy with the results! The instructions were incomplete!
