Adesso 3 Button Desktop PS/2 Optical Scroll Mouse, Black (HC-3003PS)

the description says 5 feet, and I was worried it wouldn't be long enough, but when it arrived, it was 6 feet. someone else said the middle button failed, but since i bought it for the scroll feature, and never use a middle button, i think I'll be ok.

The middle mouse button stopped working after a few months. I opened it up and found that the plastic support for the mouse wheel broke. Not going to buy it again. Ordered a logitec mouse as a replacement.

It looks like a decent mouse BUT - a) the PS/2 connector doesn't mate well with other devices, b) performance under ubuntu is funky. Use in an emergency, but not on a daily basis

Old style motherboard

The connections on the ps/2 plug arrived bent and squished together, and as such wouldn’t fit in the ps/2 slot. We had to fix them with tweezers and after doing so the mouse worked.
