3PK UAP AC PRO to NANOHD UPG

This product works exactly as Intended. It’s a mounting bracket so that you can upgrade from old unifi access point to a nano hd access point. Beware if you are trying to fit any other models (non nano aces points) this bracket won’t work! But otherwise if you have the correct plate in the ceiling and don’t want to fresh install a nano with new plates the bracket works just fine. I’m guessing the other reviewers didn’t have exactly the right models. Another thing is that the resellers on Amazon are over priced! Way over priced. Can compare prices on the unifi site directly to see if this improves w time.

Do not buy this product. The mounting plate (see attached) will not fit into this adapter. I did find a solution. Remove the 2 screws from the AP Pro mounting plate holding it to the ceiling grid and use the same screws to mount the Nano HD bracket to the ceiling grid. I had to move the ceiling grid clamps closer together, but the final installation looks fine.

I had to climb ladders and replace newer (smaller now) units for the old ones. I wanted to use these brackets but I could not get one to fit the old bracket. Ubiquity quality is starting to go down that path of garbage and it's frustrating as I have been a client since the beginning. I thought it could just be me but I had two other techs try and no luck. GARBAGE!
