You have to be careful on what you buy. Some connectors work on stranded wire and some on solid wire. These claim to work on both. I normally use solid wire and they have worked perfectly. Other bands have not. Tripp Lite is a well known name and the price was right for a 100 connectors vs others. Be careful of the cheaper ones. I would buy again!

These work great. Nice solid click when you plug them in. Conductors slide nicely into place and easy to verify you have all wires in the correct position before crimping.

These plugs are great. I bought a couple of bags and used about 150 of them. Out of all the plugs I used, I had only one issue where one of the pins bent when I crimped it. I was terminating Cat 6 cable and the jacket slid easily up into the head. On most plugs the opening is just a normal rectangle. On these one of the wide sides actually curves up a little allowing for a larger cable jacket to be inserted up into the plug. This ensures that when you crimp it you are crimping down on the jacket at the back end and not just onto the conductors. The conductors slide easily into the individual channels and I didn't have any issues with a conductor bunching up inside. These are the only plugs I will be purchasing from here on out.

They seem like quality connectors. I've crimped about 10 ends so far without any issues. Not sure they grip the cable jacket as well as previous ones I've used but not too concerned with it as it feels impossible to pull the cable back out after being crimped in any case. I didn't bother counting to make sure there were 100 because the package was factory sealed. I didn't care for the "hang hole" of the package being BELOW the resealable zipper since seems dirt/debris can sneak into the package or the ends might slip out (vs had the hole been ABOVE the zipper it'd be non issue) so I just used shipping tape over the both sides of the hole & not removing any stars over it.
