DOA, won't post after BIOS flash and extensive tests with many spare parts. Also the board materials feel cheap. Going back to Asus. Edit: Just received an Asus B650M-PLUS WiFi which is slightly cheaper, well built and it worked like a charm.

Purchased this for new build. Mobo was unresponsive, had to troubleshoot using multiple hardware from previous computer. Would not boot, and only response that this board gave was a random brief blue LED flash that sometimes happened on the board when PSU power switch was flicked. Really disappointed as I had a Gigabyte MOBO in previous computer that served me well. Edit: I tinkered with my set up and realized that I was plugging the power into the F panel wrong. I have since been able to get my computer to post and the board has been working. The white power button on the mobo did not work for me. That being said, it's incredibly frustrating that this mobo does not have a physical manual (online only), and for that reason I am only giving this board 4 stars. I'll report back if I encounter any other issues.

This is my second gigabyte b650 aorus elite ax board. I have a v1 that had a 7600x and now has a 7800x3d in it and now the v2 with the 7600x. Not too much physicaly changed the only thing I noticed was the nvme retention. V1 has a snap latch, V2 is a spring loaded rotating peg. Other than that factory bios version, ram speed support, PCB layers and power phases are different. However I don't think any of these changes have affected normal day to day functions. Maybe if you planned on over clocking the snot out of a cpu the pbc or power phases might make a difference not sure. I haven't had any issues with either board both been solid and stable with 6000mts cl30/cl36 ram. The only downside is gigabyte software is still stuck in 2013.

Received this with an untaped box and no manual, an absolutely vital part of any install. A digital version was downloaded from gigabyte only to notice it depicts a different header layout. I would still like my manual please.
