Mute Function Works for PC!

I have tried countless wireless business headsets since working from home. They all had the same problem in that I could not mute on the headset for PC. In order to mute myself I would have to do it in Teams or WebEx. The wireless headsets that advertise they can mute on PC are $200 minimum. So I decided to get this and finally, FINALLY I have a wireless headset where I can mute myself without being at my PC. Sound quality is excellent. It's much better than other headphones I have tried, which is a bonus. I have a normal size head, and on the headsets smallest sizing, it is too small for me. I say this because some reviews will have you believe this thing only fits massive heads, and that's not the case. It's a normal headset, it will fit you. Build quality is good, there is no creaking or squeaking when moving it around or moving the mic. To use it, you just plug in the wireless adapter and turn on the headset. No need to install iCue unless you want to control the lights on the sides. I'm happy I finally have a headset that fits my needs are buying/returning at least 10 in the past year.

Well worth it.

These headphones are honestly a catch 22. They are louder then I expected. The sound quality is above average (although not $200+ quality) the addition of the sound card USB that allows you to change EQ settings is really nice touch. Another plus that is also the down side. The build quality. They are well made and solid in construction. This makes them heavy. They are comfortable at first but after a bit of using them, you feel the strain of their weight. They are also kind of floppy on a smaller head, but comfortable and stable on a larger head. An issue with most headphones to be honest though. I have worn these for hours at a time though and never experienced ear discomfort. The ear muffs are comfortable, breathable, and fit nicely over the ears. Even with glasses on. (As a glasses wearer I know some of you will be looking for that) Battery is a lot better then I expected. I use mine casually, usually a night when the wife is sleeping. Used them 5 days straight without charging. Around 2-3 hrs a night. That’s with lighting function off and mic off. I imagine lower time with both on. Over all I give them a win. Especially for the price point.

Decent quality, bought to replace my Astro A50, but these want to strangle me!

Pros: Sound Quality - More than adequate for my needs as a gamer. I'm told voice transmission sounds great. Solid Microphone boom(with lift to mute) - Feels solid, interior design looks more durable than the headset I bought this to replace, an Astro A50(because their mic design literally tears itself apart over extended usage) Comfortable Cups - They're surprisingly comfortable, but the shape takes some getting used to. Rotating Cups - another feature my busted A50 had, you can rotate the cups 90 degrees to hang them on your neck and lay the cups on your shoulders. Muffling - While this is a feature aswell, some may find it a con, it muffles most exterior sounds which can reduce your ability to hear things around you considerably. Cons: Also the Rotating Cups - This one gets listed as a Con aswell because they rotate INWARD( as opposed to the A50s, which widened when you rotated the cups), maybe I just have a big neck, but the front edge of the cups angle down to press against the sides of my throat when these are resting on my shoulders. THE LIGHTS! - I have no idea why everything these days needs vanity LEDs, but wow are these bright and they don't seem to like to save my settings in the corsair application. I feel kind of like an emergency vehicle when I walk around my house at night because they will light up a room with strobing colours. Sound Bleed - Weird that it muffles exterior sounds so well, yet even at very low settings these seem to be clearly audible to people around you. Not useful for privacy, if that's a concern. At medium sound settings the microphone can even pick up some of the more intense outputs, according to people on voice comms. Combine with above con regarding lighting and play siren sounds when you walk around the house with these I guess for comedic effect? Connection issues at end of range - If you frequently walk out of range of your headset, or behind refrigerators or other dense, metal objects, you may find that you have to reboot it a couple of times for it to reconnect to its tranciever when walking back in range/Line of sight. Bottom line: Lots of weird/annoying cons, but for the price you won't find a more comfortable or solid headset. A good choice if you don't feel like shelling out $400 for a pair of Astro A50s and can live without dual channel balance.

These headphones are legit.

For reference, I've owned 2 pairs of Steelseries wireless H (they have a different name now, but they were their $400 ones, my dog apparently thought they were chew toys....) and a pair of Astro A50's. I bought these Void Pro's for the girlfriend as she's starting to get into gaming, but here's a few quick notes on them: - The sound quality on them is comparable to my A50's (At least to me... I'm no expert lol) - The the mic quality is just a little worse (according to my friends, but its not horrible, might be fixable with changing some settings) - They are quite comfy, slick looking - The range on the headset is much better then A50's or Steelseries ever were, which amazes me since these headsets only use a dongle while the other 2 have their own little base unit. - They have the mic up/down to mute which is a feature I love from the A50's. Would I buy these again? I sure would, but if my budgets allowed me I would honestly go with the steel series mostly just because having the interchangeable battery is an amazing feature. but for the price of corsairs they are pretty awesome. **Note: We had issues with her mic being super quite on discord - This is NOT a issue with the headset, its discord. Scroll to the bottom of the sound/voice settings and reset them to default, we did this and it almost tripled the output volume**
