Verbatim CD-R 52x 700 MB/80 Minute Disc Silver Inkjet Printable 50 Pack Spindle

This is my go-to brand when I need CD-Rs. Have used other brands where one or two CD-Rs fail to successfully write every so often. Never a problem with Verbatim.

I use these for mp3 music files. I have only used a few so far. I have not had any problems with them.

I'd just realized that I have been ordering the wrong type of Verbatim black cd's for years while shopping on amazon, I utilizes various of print images on my cds. Now I know which ones to purchase/order and will continue to order more of these cd's in the future here on amazon.com!!

I bought these so that I can make a few CDs for the car, so that we don't have to fumble with the phone when trying to find something to listen to on trips. Faffing about with the phone is annoying, especially when you have bad Internet connection. Yeah, you can download to your phone blah blah blah but it's still a process. I'd rather have a few CDs on hand to pop into the CD player, and the thing just plays. Whatever speed that the packaging tells you this CAN burn at should be ignored. Go for 12 x or slower. It's still going to be a relatively quick process. Also, if you're burning CDs from iTunes do NOT use any of the special features that iTunes offers, like "sound check" or "include CD text" or literally anything else. Just hit the playlist you want, download it, and then burn to CD, and set the speed at 12 x or lower. When I had these set to burn more quickly, I would have a failed write more often than not. When I'd use any of the added features that iTunes offers, it would fail the burn. Literally anything except a bog standard burn to audio CD is going to cause several many issues. This is why I docked a couple of stars. It's good value for money, as long as you set up your burning to go perfectly. If anything goes wrong, that's a coaster you've just made.
