The VisionTek mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter features a mini DP male connector on one end and an HDMI female connector on the other. An HDMI cable (sold separately) is required for this mDP to HDMI adapter. The adapter allows you to connect any mini DisplayPort-equipped laptop, including the Mac® family of products, to a standard HDMI connection such as an HDTV, monitor, or projector. Unlike passive adapters, this mDP to HDMI converter offers an active chipset for compatibility with any Mini DisplayPort output - ideal for graphics cards and devices that do not support outputting multi-mode DP++ signals (e.g. AMD Eyefinity).

Es un cable conector indispensable para conectar una pantalla Cintiq dvi a la conección de una laptop. Buenas cálida y precio me llegó en tiempo. Me ha funcionado muy bien.

Meant to be used with [VisionTek Radeon 7750 2GB GDDR5 6 4k Monitor Graphics Card, 6 Mini DisplayPorts] video card (and other uses I'm sure). Works great right out of the box.

Rogue Wave
Works well at 2560 x 1440 resolution

I'm typing this review at the monitor's full native resolution (2560 x 1440 60 Hz). Perhaps I was just lucky, but the monitor was recognized right away and works perfectly - no flickering or screen artifacts as reported in some other reviews. The adapter isn't exactly cheap, but it's pretty much your only option if, like me, you have one of those Korean monitors with only DL DVI-D inputs. I just hope it lasts... I'd already used a similar adapter (from another brand) that stopped working after a couple of years, so I replaced it with this one.
