Robust but loud

No complaints, I’m running 11 cams, (8) 8mp, (2) 3mp and (1) PTZ. This unit is powerful and never breaks a sweat to accomplish the task. Be warned though it is LOUD to say the least

Looked brand new

This switch came as a refurbished unit but it looked like it was brand new. It didn’t have any scratches or dings in the metal and performed perfectly. I will purchase again when the time arises

Obnoxiously loud all the time even with no load, fans are not themally controlled.

The fans are necessary to keep it cool, but yep

Simple, efficient works very well. The other comments about the fan noise are correct, but I assume this was made to sit in a computer room, rack mounted. The fans are necessary to keep it cool, but yep, they are pretty loud.

It's ridiculously loud. It's as loud as my Miele ...

It's ridiculously loud. It's as loud as my Miele vacuum cleaner (a quiet one, high end, but still a vacuum cleaner!). Returning it. Unacceptable. Even for a LAN room. Noise pollution for no reason.
