Don’t be fooled by the rest of the Philips Hue line. The cameras are NOT HomeKit compatible.

I am in the market for some outdoor cameras around the house and I came across these. I have the Phillips Hue bulbs in my house already. But - who the hell in their right mind is going to spend hundreds of dollars on ONE camera when there are other camera systems out there that have pretty much the same features as the other ones on Amazon? This one is WIRED too! Sorry, the name is GREAT, but the price of having that name on my camera is way too high.

**Update** I’m regretting this purchase so much; it is unbelievably unreliable. I have a few other cheaper cameras around the house and this is the only camera that is giving me the most headaches. Continuously having connection issues and the number of times I have to reset the thing is not acceptable considering the premium price tag. The camera itself is great and has deep integration with Hue ecosystem (which you expect) but if you’re a HomeKit user, it provides a terrible experience; especially for the ultra premium price. I personally regret getting this considering there are many outdoor camera systems out there that support HomeKit for very affordable price. Also taking away an extra star for a subscription service to get the full experience, on top of the expensive price tag.

It is a real good product, the Main difference between this Wifi Camera and other top brands is the time of response in the APP, and notification; it has a Good Quality Video, not the best in market but good enough and Color Night Vision. Ring is a good brand in doorbell cameras, and this Philips HUE camera is as fast as Ring but without the trouble of the Battery and time response that in some cases the Ring camera takes few more seconds to load the image in the APP, and this is important because you see in real time the notification and loads the person walking to the door, and not like a recorded event (It can record events too). When I'm working in the back studio, far from the main entrance, I kept the Real time Video running on my tablet flowsly smooth and worry free of the Battery life.
