the ability for these sensors to link with the hue bridge and then being able the access them via the hue API is a game changer. I link them to my home assistant for some automation beyond the Hue/google environment

Oh wow, talk about simple and seamless. We have Philips Hue controlling our lighting system in the house. Adding these sensors took all of three minutes and they worked perfectly. I use them on each of our handgun safes and it’s a great peace of mind knowing for sure that they are all closed. I can’t remember when I had such an easy time installing this kind of technology. I have tested them thoroughly for several hours and never had a failure. Never had any issue. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Good product, works well. however, given that Philips is eschewing thread and matter, i can't rate this more than 4 stars. i feel that's fair. //UPDATE: I am finding these sensors are not as responsive as I expected. One sensor stopped working, had to reset after barely a week of usage. I'll be taking some Eve sensors for a test drive next.
