Two sets of these lights were perfect for crown moulding uplighting on a ceiling. Extremely easy to set up and the colors are vivid and bright. Sinks very well with my current smart home software. They are more money than some other similar products, but I think the extra is worth it.

The individual LED are bright. However they are spaced quite far apart, about 1 inch give or take. This makes it difficult to not have gaps in lighting even with a diffuser, other brands such as KASA have tighter LED. I wouldn't say this is worth the money at this time, will have to see how it lights the room. Main reason we used Philips is due to using the hub which offloads wifi strain. Would be nice if Philips had a fairly priced COB light strip instead, those are much smoother and look better.

I love this product, the light looks great and so much customization available from my phone. I especially love the mode where you are able to set the lights to slowly dim or brighten for waking up/going to sleep. Two things to note are that it is not possible to individually buy another control box to use these lights in 2 different spots after cutting; and secondly it doesn't come with connecters for when you cut it.
