Vent style, eventually falls off no matter how much I tighten it. Found out after return date.

The design of the spring loaded gripper has two major flaws. One, the spring is not tight enough to hold my SE phone (yes, I still have the original SE); two, the angle of the rubberized pads MINIMIZES the contact between the gripper pads and the edge of the phone. See picture. It just doesn't do the job. Mounting on a vent and the phone just slides slowly down, and that's sitting still. Certainly when I drive it's just going to slide right off. Very disappointed and will try another product. Maybe it works for a larger width device but I don't think so.

Ease of installation and works as described at a fraction of a cost to other phone car holders.

The adhesive came off within the first day of using it. Guess I will try to use something else to secure it. The adjustable mount itself is good though.

Sticks very well to top of dashboard. Easy to mount phone as it self adjusts to phone size.
