We just got this in March 2021, and only used one time. We had tornadoes yesterday and more are expected tomorrow, so I got it out today. It would not work…changed the batteries…still won’t work….charged for 8 hrs…still won’t work. Next time, will pay a few dollars more and get a quality product, such as a Midland. They have a much better warranty.

This radio is multipurpose and very valuable to have for daily use or in case of an emergency. This is the fourth one I have purchased. The other three were so appreciated as a gift. The radio is reasonably priced, durable, and enjoyable.

I bought this for a family member. They said they really liked this weather radio. (I also have one but the 1st one I bought from Walmart, stopped working that same day I got it! The 2nd one has been very good so far.) It works well & takes 3 AA batteries. It won’t wake you with an alert programmed in for your area, (like midland weather radios), but most cell phones do that now if tornado warnings. The USB charging for phones has to be done with the AC or crank, can’t charge cell phone through this USB device on only the batteries, so don’t plan on charging phone during power outage unless you use the crank on back, but that’s better than nothing. But other than that it is very useful during storm season. I love the flashlight, radio AM/FM, weather radio WB, everything in one place with a handle. Also has a siren (if you’re trapped in rubble) thermometer, solar light that pops up on opposite end of flashlight. And the USB on the back, see above for info re: that.
