Crucial Technology P3 Plus 4TB - Solid State Drive

I got this for my PS5, I know it doesn’t have a heatsink like im supposed to, but worked flawlessly on my PS5. In terms of speed, it’s slightly lower than recommended, but cmon guys you’d only have to wait like 1 second longer xD, works great. And I got it on sale. Thanks guys. I needed space desperately and crucial came through.

Although this is a "cheap" option for an M.2, it's well worth the price. Fast upload and download speeds. I went from 13 mbps downloading on Steam to 116. My motherboard holds 2 M.2s and I'm more than willing to purchase another one of these to fill that second slot. Highly recommend.

easy to install, I downloaded Acronis software from Crucial's web site, just click on automatic mode, it took several hrs to copy my almost completely full 2 TB drive to the new 4 TB drive, rebooting the pc, my desktop looked exactly the same, just now more space. I'm happy with the speed of this SSD.

Il disco è l'evoluzione della serie P3 alla tecnologia PCIe gen4, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è davvero ottimo, visto la capienza del disco ed evita di dover sborsare euro in più per la serie P5, che ha ovviamente performance migliori ma che francamente è giustificato solo da un uso del PC in ambiti professionali davvero ristretti. In effetti, questo disco è velocissimo per qualsiasi uso, è fornito di un dissipatore di fabbrica (la copertura nera con la stampa del logo che si vede in foto) e il prezzo per GB è fra i migliori. Note importanti da tenere presente: dovete verificare la mainboard su cui lo montate, è retrocompatibile con connettori PCIe Gen3 ma se volete sfruttarlo al massimo delle possibilità dovete verificare che sia il vostro connettore M.2 che la CPU siano compatibili con lo standard PCIe Gen4. Ad esempio sulla mia mainboard ci sono due connettori M.2 ma solo uno è compatibile PCIe Gen4. Per quanto riguarda le CPU, a parità di socket ad esempio un Ryzen serie 3X00 gestisce solo PCIe Gen3 mentre un Ryzen serie 5X00 arria a Gen4.

I used this SSD and a PCIe adapter to add internal PC storage. The SSD plugged into my adapter card easily, and through the necessary steps in Windows, I made the 1TB available and assigned a drive letter to it. Note: I'd not done this before, and Windows did not automatically recognize the drive, so I had to research what to do and follow a few steps. It was not difficult, but some instructions with the SSD might have aided the effort some. Still, I'm very happy with this SSD.
