This is so much quieter and cooler than the stock fan! It was a little tricky to install the backplate but it was really worth it. I didn’t care for the RGB in my choice but I like it after all. I have an RGB 12v connector on my MB but otherwise you can use the device provided. Happy purchase!

A surprisingly decent & quiet CPU fan cooler, the fan is quiet at times - it comes down to your motherboard features of controlling the CPU fan, but overall it is fantastic in keeping the CPU temp down. This is a fantastic purchase, only wished the price was cheaper for CPU fan coolers these days (opposed to CPU water-coolers)

I loved the look and was very disappointed when after starting a graphic intensive game my rig shut off after the heat spiked rapidly. I tried powering on and monitoring it and it was not keeping my ryzen 3950X CPU under 90°C. The unit was installed correctly and the pre-applied thermal paste had good contact. I was surprised when I unboxed the unit that the surface area was so small, smaller than my CPU but decided to try it anyways. I will be returning it and getting the watercooled unit I was originally going to use. Update, did not work out with my cpu, it just ran too hot under heavy load. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

I replaced my water cooler with it. easy to install and is way quieter.
