Solidigm Intel P41 Plus Series 2.0TB - Solid State Drive

Used as my system disk really good

These drives seem to be working well. It's early days yet (only had them running for a couple of months) but not a single hint of trouble. I'm using them as the cache drives in an Unraid NAS setup. It's not under a huge load, just backing up the several PCs around the house. Temperatures looked good even when under sustained load during the initial full backup of my larger system.

Although Solidigm has been around a short time when purchased by SK Hynix in 2021, before that it was a subsidiary of Intel. Solidigm has long roots in the chip industry. These M.2 2280 3D NAND are inexpensive, easy to use, and so far have proven a great value in my NAS. I use two 2TB NANDs. One is for cache and the other serves as an SSD storage pool. A wired setup, but it works allowing for faster throughput on my NAS.

This is a really great SSD, especially for price/performance. By the way it's very cool SSD compared to others and there's no need of heatsink either. Mine runs 33 celsius degrees on Idle in my desktop computer and goes up to 55 celsius degrees maximum on load and in intensive gaming. I highly recommend this SSD.
