This mount makes it easy to reduce glare and create comfortable viewing angles so you'll always have a perfect view of your TV. Additionally, the PT640 lets you mount the TV in high places--such as above a mantel--and its one-touch-tilt feature enables you to tilt the screen down to provide comfortable viewing from a sitting area. The PT640 Universal Tilt Wall Mount makes it easy to achieve the optimal viewing angle for your TV. A touch is all it takes to effortlessly tilt the TV +15 and -5 degrees to achieve the best viewing angle. Its negative tilt allows for easy component connection after the screen has been installed.

QUICK, EASY INSTALLATION

Featuring a simple, three-step installation, the PT640 is designed to set up in minutes. The mount comes with a Sorted-For-You Fastener Pack, which contains the necessary wall and screen attachment hardware for installation. The mount can be fixed to a variety of surface types, including wood studs, concrete, and cinder blocks. It can also mount to metal studs with a special metal-stud accessory (sold separately).

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION

The PT640 is designed to hold TVs up to 150 pounds and is UL-listed to support four times its rated load capacity, ensuring a safe application.

UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY

The PT640 mount features a universal design and is compatible with nearly every TV from 23 to 46 inches with a mounting pattern up to 12.94 by 17.5 inches (H x W).

Great Product Instructions are Poor.

I purchased a total of two of these units plus a larger one. Rated three stars due to poorly written instructions which are mostly one liners. Overall I am happy with the product. The brackets are heavy duty and hold my units steady. I like being able to slide units on wall brackets to help center on wall due to stud placement.

Not for 46 inch TVs

Item was ordered for a 46 inch Sharp TV. The mounting bolts were too small and the brackets were too short to fit holes as required. Also, shipping; Ordered this item on 2/10 and chose the "Super saver shipping" because the next option up (2 day) was an additional $25. Considering the description of "Shipping" i was under the impresion that it would similar to parcel post vs. Fed-Ex, meaning a difference of a couple days. Not quite. The order was in preparing to ship / pre-shipment status for 5 days without update, the items were actually picked up by Fed-Ex on the 6TH day. I received the items 9 days after placing the order and they were delivered via Fed-Ex.

Very nice but should be rated 23"-42"

I really like the mount but beware if you have a 46" television. The directions state that the unit doesn't fit very many televisions above 42", I think this should have been mentioned in the description. My TV is 40" and worked perfectly. The unit is very sturdy, just make sure you hit the middle of the studs and you will be fine. The vertical tilt is very nice and easy to adjust. I own two Peerless mounts and have been very satisfied with both units.

Decent product

This is a really good quality wall bracket, recommended by Toshiba for their flat screen TVs. I have a 37" WLT Toshiba and it worked nicely but for one flaw, hence the 1 star reduction. The screws come in a variety of sizes to fit several sizes of TV, but the washers only come in one size... The tilting instructions are a little vague too, but its of a high quality and does the job well.

Nice Mount, Made in the USA!

Nice mount, easy to install, adjusts easy, and Made in the USA! Works great on Insignia 42" LCD. The only minor issue is that it comes with screws for many different TVs, and the screws for my TV were to big for the washers they provided for attaching the arms to the back of the TV. A quick trip to the Hardware store fixed that. Highly Recommended.
