This is an easy to use external Blue-ray Player. Works great with my Desktop computer
It works for sure its just that sometimes windows for some reason detects it as a completely different device. You can find info to fix this online as it requires use of device manager.
Been using this drive for a few weeks and it is a pretty good drive and rips DVDs and Blu-Rays. You will require software (check online for options) to run it whether that is playing or ripping but there are some options out there to try - using in a older iMac and also the newer 2021 M1 iMac and works well in both - only issue I find is that sometimes when you unplug it (which I do not usually do often) it may take a couple attempts to get the drive to show up but besides that it seems reliable. Only issue can be the 2 slots it takes up to connect the drive to your Mac as in newer units there can be less or need to use a adapter/dongle. Also like the option of standing the drive up or laying flat - nice feature for different set ups. Only wish the drive was bit less - maybe around $100 - other than that it is worth picking up.
Semble très bonne qualité. Mais sur certain lecteur blue Ray il n’y a pas de son, alors que le même CD blue ray sur d’autre il y a du son.
It comes with a split USB cable, one for data and power and the other for power only. Given my experience with similar devices, I ignored the power only connector. Big mistake. It threw up all kinds of mistakes when reading blu ray discs. Finally, I found out that the device disconnected in the middle of reading due to insufficient power. After I plugged the usb power connector into a wall charger, everything works perfectly ever since. I think it might work just fine for reading DVD but blue ray needs the extra juice. Also one can plug the power connector into another USB port but many PC/laptops have two USB ports sharing one on the motherboard like a hub. So the two ports only draw the power of one. It might not be sufficient.
