Very Disappointing failure after 6 months

The TrippLite HDMI Fiber-optic cable failed after 6 months. Started with white dots in my picture watching evening TV. I have been a fan of quality TrippLite products over the years. This HDMI cable has changed my view of the quality of products they are engineering, manufacturing in China, and reselling in the U.S. To be clear, I recommend paying the extra money for another brand (e.g. AudioQuest).
