I'm not an audiophile so wouldn't want to comment on the sound quality -- it was just fine for me. The selling point was the ease of setup. By that I mean, no setup. Just plugged it in to my computer and the sound came out immediately. Couldn't ask for anything simpler. Was a little concerned about the clamp. My monitor is not thin anywhere around it and the clamp on the speaker didn't seem to open as wide as would be required. Nevertheless, I hooked it to the top of the monitor and it actually stayed attached even though part of the clamp was on a curved surface.
Good sound quality an and fits perfectly on top of laptop.
I’ve been using the same AOC monitor for over 2 years now, but never had speakers. So I’ve always had to plug in some headphones in order to hear audio, which in some cases is just annoying. I finally got around to buying a speaker and decided to go with this because it’s cheap, and has really good reviews. And I can proudly say that it doesn’t disappoint! The sound quality is very good for the price, it does have some issues with sound is things such as Call Of Duty, but otherwise it sounds amazing! I’d definitely recommend picking this up if you’re on more of a budget.
I love the look, and sound quality of the speaker. EZ to use as well but I don’t like how if you use the usb c on a monitor it does not transfer the sound. I have a bigger soundbar hooked up in my other monitor but it has a headphone jack with the usb and it works fine. Sound is a lot better on regular usb version than BT and USB has more audio options on your PC. BY version only has standard CD audio option. When BT is plugged up it is kinda groggy when using BT. I’ll probably try the pro version
Good & Clear sound. Loud enough for personal use. Has been looking for a similar speaker (which can be clamped to laptop) since the Philips one went off market. Only a single cable is a big plus. However, considering that it costs almost thrice as the Philips one, let's see how long it lasts. It is simple plug and play, both on Windows and Linux.
