Home thermostat was good.

Easy to install works very well

If you know how to install a lamp or change a switch this is a breeze. Instructions are easy to follow. I replaced an existing Honeywell thermostat for this smart one and it is excellent. Other reviews mentioned it loosing connectivity with their wifi mine never has but I have a router very close by. If you have issues with that consider plugging in a wifi booster nearby. The app is excellent and love that I can schedule and control it from my phone wherever I am.

'System is Offline' - Stopped working after 8 months

This thermostat started out great. I really liked being able to use the remote sensors to control the heat/AC based on temperatures in different rooms in the house. A few months into using it, I had sporadic issues where the Honeywell Home app showed 'System is offline', even though my thermostat showed it was connected to the internet. It would reconnect after I pulled the thermostat off the wall and rebooted it. Now, 8 months after buying it, the app no longer connects to the thermostat at all. The app shows the system is offline, and the thermostat indicates that there is no problem. I contacted Honeywell's support, and they suggested to me that my internet provider was blocking the thermostat somehow. I found this hard to believe, but contacted my ISP nonetheless, and they literally laughed at me when I suggested it. So here I am with a 'smart' thermostat that no longer allows me to connect remotely from the app, which is the very reason I bought it in the first place. After reading the most recent reviews of the app online, I can see I'm not the only person to have this problem. Very disappointed because normally I love Honeywell's products.

Great multiroom - Horrible Smart Home Integration

Works really well and great with multiple room sensors. Does NOT play well with Alexa or Google Home if you use Celsius. Presents garbage numbers for temperatures need a rewrite to support smart home apps.
