Simple to install, runs smooth and quick!

Works great awesome speeds love it

Easy to install and computer recognized the new drive on startup. After formatting with windows storage tool everything was done and the drive was ready. Installed some Steam games and played them and everything was fast and easy. Faster load times than from the drive that came with the laptop. I'm very happy and recommend this drive if you want fast performance for work or gaming. One special note: I purchased the drive that came with a heatsink. The heatsink is a little bit tall where it comes to a point. It fit my laptop just fine but it was slightly taller by a millimeter than all other components. If you are considering fitting in a laptop you should check that you have clearance for the heatsink or buy the one without a heatsink and then purchase a flat heatsink that will fit your laptop space.

I upgraded my new Legion 7i 8 gen laptop with this Samsung 990 PRO SSD 2TB drive for my main drive C located in the 1st SSD drive slot. After cloning existing drive to the new Samsung SSD, installed it into my laptop and just works. Fast drive with plenty of storage. Good value for this drive in my opinion.
