Product appears to be of good quality. Delivery was as usual fast but the product shipped although is the same model number advertised, the picture shown is different than the item received. There is no auxiliary power connection and no grooves to remove the cover and this cover is extremely difficult to open with the hand because the hard drive fits very snuggly inside the case. After a number of unsuccessful attempts at doing a backup on USB3 ports but successful on USB2 ports I definitely will not buy this product again.

Cumple su objetivo de mantener protegidos y funcionales los HDD y SSD, el material es de un plástico muy delgado que se siente frágil desde que se quita la tapa. Se agradece que el cable venga incluido aunque del lado del micro-USB 3.0 se siente firme, el otro extremo (USB 3.0 normal) no embona bien en el puerto de los equipos, se mueve y sale con facilidad.

The good news is that I bought two of these along with 4 6-TB drives and they were very easy and quick to setup, configure, and format. So you can consider 6TB drives as supported. DIP switch configuration actually works as opposed to many similar units where the drive management software ignores them. Trays secure the drives without screws, so that also helps installation to be fast and easy. Windows will recognize the combined unit when connected, as opposed to some units where you have to format the drives first and then add to the array. The reason I can't give five stars is that the units do not seem to have a configurable power spin down policy. So if you haven't accessed the drives for a while it spins them down automatically to save power and help with cooling. If I wanted that, I would have bought Green rather than Red HDs. This isn't a huge issue, but does mean that you will often get a 1 - 3 second delay when first accessing a directory that is not in cache, or when you are going to write something. I haven't yet had an operation time out because of this, but it is annoying.
