I have always relied on Sandisk for a solid product, and this does not disappoint. It's small and it's light and since it's retractable you never have to worry about losing the cover. I needed something high capacity enough to throw all of my photos and documents onto to carry with me as insurance against theft or fire. This could also be easily thrown into a safe with all of my important digital stuff.

I don't even remember the last time I bought a flash drive but decided to pick one up to back up important items and keep them on me in a physical state vs the cloud. Its a USB-C connection which is nice since most of my devices are USB-C now anyways. This does help with the speed of transfer and I was able to back up large amounts of data rather quickly. The 256GB size also allows for massive quantities of data as well. A HUGE step up from my 32GB flash drives from yesteryear. Build quality is ok, its rather cheapy plastic but to be honest, you don't need these to have heft nor weight to it anyways. The USB-C connector slides in and out of the housing. Not the biggest fan of this feature as its one more thing that could break in the future from prolonged use. The color of the flash drive was an interesting choice as well. The gradient is rather meh. Who are they gearing this drive for anyways? You're just backing up data, why do I need it "personalized" or "fun"? Anyways, its a flash drive, and it works.

Works as expected, fast and good capacity. Includes 3 months of Lightroom which is a decent add on. Maybe dumb, but I like the lavender color as it stands out a bit and is easier to find among my many other Micro SD cards.

I have lot of plain USB flash drives, but don't have any USB-C ones. The one I got is 256GB. So far seems to be ok. The casing is plastic so not sure how the durability will be. It's easy to use and the plug extends and retracts by sliding the rigid plastic underneath. I would've preferred if this was made of metal/aluminum but for what it does its fine so far.

This product is fast, seems to work really nicely, and seems like decent value for the price paid. I love that it is USB C which is clearly where these kind of products need to be. It is nice not to have to worry about some adapter working, and since all my products are Apple, I don’t really want or need USB A. It formatted just fine, data transfer seem reliable thus far, so far impressed. But now the downsides. I don’t know why they went to all this effort to do a gradient plastic color. Seems like a waste of time and effort, because it doesn’t look good. One color would have been fine. The mechanism that advances and retracts the USB C plug feels cheap and poorly executed. Which is also a reasonable description for the overall cheap flimsy plastic feel. So in conclusion it is a great product, encased in a cheap, ugly, plastic case. If they could address that, I think this would be an automatic five stars.
