The U022-010-COIL USB 2.0 Hi-Speed A/B Coiled Cable (M/M) connects your computer, laptop or other compatible USB-A device to a USB-B peripheral, such as printers and scanners. This 10-foot cable supports data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps for both low- and high-speed devices, including multimedia applications. The specially coiled cable takes up much less space than a regular 10-foot cable. It also resists tangles and knots, making it convenient to store in your car or carry in your purse, backpack or laptop bag. Premium foil and braid shielding delivers reliable, error-free signal quality and protection from EMI/RFI interference. Molded nickel-plated connectors ensure excellent conductivity. Integral strain relief ensures the cable and connectors last a long time. A rugged PVC jacket protects twisted 28 AWG data lines and 24 AWG power lines. Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Great for cable managment

I use these cables to help with cable management in astrophotography. Connecting the mount to other mounted equipment with a standard non coiled cable can result in the cable getting snagged and pulled loose. The coiled cable stays compact against the mount but then stretches when needed.

Use it to connect Icom to my lap top

I like that it is made in North America, and the price was competitive. I like the coil it makes the wiring tidy and nostalgic looking. I wish they would include a couple of ferrite chokes as this is used for radio. Also wish they would gold or silver plate the contacts. I will update if anything changes. Yes, I would recommend this.

Used for a retro keyboard setup

Coiled it and it matches my Keychron c2 well with a usb a to c right angle adapter. Couldnt find ANY other beige non-para cables out there so I had to improvise.

Very Convenient, but maybe not 6 feet

It allows my printer to work, just like a standard cable. It is a lot neater than the old cable. My printer is not wireless-capable and this cable allows different PCs to use it without creating a hazard or a mess. I don’t think I’d try to stretch it to 6 feet and expect it to stay connected. A better “working” length might be 4 feet. I’ve used this for only a short time, so can’t comment on durability, but I would buy it again. I’d actually buy standard USB cables (A to A, A to C, and C to C) if they were coiled like this one. Updated Nov ‘23: After nearly 2 years of use, it remains flawless. Bought a second one for my daughter’s printer. Added the fifth star.
