The speed of charging over USB is dictated by four things: 1) How many amps can your charger supply? 2) How long is your USB cable? Shorter = faster charging. 3) How thick is the charging wire in the cable? Lower numbers are better, and 19 AWG is about as low as you can find. 4) How fast does the device receive a charge? This is a 3' charge-only cable with a 20 AWG wire. On paper, it really doesn't get much better than that when it comes to providing healthy amperage to a device. My other 20 AWG cables can easily handle 1A+ on wall-chargers, so I had high hopes that this cable, purchased for use in a compact automotive project, would perform similarly. IT DID NOT. This cable could barely deliver 275mA of current to my device. Meanwhile, this Hi-Mobiler cable (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GPGJ7DJ) with unknown AWG delivers about 1A to the device. That's about as fast as my particular device will charge, and it makes sense that the Hi-Mobiler cable would deliver that performance considering that it promotes 2.1a charging capacity. That means its charge wire is in the range of 22-19AWG also. But the performance of these two cables could not be any different. So, to summarize: this cable was absolute trash, could not perform anywhere near its specifications, and should not be purchased by anyone at all.

High quality charging cable. Definitely 20AWG, well shielded and insulated with solid connectors. Clearly labeled 'Charge Only'; which is convenient and unobtrusive. Apparently Tripp Lite isn't manufacturing a micro USB 90' left angled connector; if they did I would purchase two or three. The USB A connector is universal, i.e., it may face either possible orientation.
