I cloned my original drive to this drive and I did have to switch spots that was in my laptop it 1st showed up as Gen3! But after I switched it to the main SSD spot it was running as a 4th Gen SSD takes less than 10 seconds to boot to windows 11! Very easy to use very fast to copy stuff to and from! I would buy another one!
