The HD2VGAMM6 6ft HDMI® to VGA converter cable lets you connect your HDMI equipped Chromebook™, laptop or desktop to a VGA monitor or projector, with no additional adapters or cables required.

The converter cable saves you the hassle of combining an HDMI to VGA adapter with a bulky VGA cable by providing an end-to-end solution for connecting your digital HDMI computer to your VGA monitor or projector.

Unlike most HDMI to VGA adapters which require a power outlet to convert the video signal, the HD2VGAMM6 doesn't need external power in most installations. To work with Mac computers where extra power is needed, the HD2VGAMM6 features an optional integrated USB power source (USB cable not included), which makes connecting a display to your desktop or workstation that much easier, if additional power is required.

In the past, converting digital HDMI to analog VGA was a difficult and expensive task. Now, you can avoid upgrade costs by connecting your HDMI video source to your existing VGA monitor or projector using the HD2VGAMM6. Plus, because the adapter cable supports video resolutions up to 1920x1200 or 1080p, you can rest assured you can use your existing VGA display while maintaining high-definition video quality.

The HD2VGAMM6 converter cable delivers a precise 6ft connection that eliminates the clutter of excess cable length and ensures a tidy, professional installation. For longer shorter installations, we offer a 3 ft HDMI to VGA cable (HD2VGAMM3), and longer installations we offer a 10 ft HDMI to VGA cable (HD2VGAMM10), enabling you to choose the right cable length for your installation needs.

***APPLICATION*** Wanted to use my Lenovo W530 laptop with my HP MX70 CRT. My gear is vintage and so am I. ***LIKES*** StarTech is a great company - they build quality product that works well and they also have great support. I’ve bought a lot of their products and used their support once to deal with a technical issue - which they handled quickly and effectively. This product is a good representation of what they put out: it is well-designed and engineered, and manufactured to high standards. It’s certainly a practical design, and yet it’s much classier as compared to all the competitors I’ve seen. There was no interference or distortion in the image from the laptop - it was nice and crisp. While gaming there was no significant lag as is often a concern with these VGA interfaces. ***DISLIKES*** I will not take off a star for this, but you oftentimes will pay more - sometimes a LOT more - for their product versus a competitor’s product. The reason I won’t take off a star is all the reasons stated in my likes! 😎 ***TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY?*** Do you need an HDMI to VGA interface? Do you want to buy a quality product from a reputable manufacturer? Then heck yes, BUY IT!

Bon outil qui fonctionne encore 3 ans après pour relier mon novueau PC qui n'a que l'HDMI comme sortie à mon ancien écran qui n'a pas cette entrée.

Todos los conversores de VGA/HDMI tienen el mismo problema, en la conversion de analogico a digital pierde algo de calidad, y no me refiero a resolucion,es como si añadiese algo de ruido, como un efecto lluvia. Teniendo esto claro, de todos los que he probado, este es en el que menos se nota. Probado con una pantalla normal y llevandolo al extremo, con un proyector conectado mediante un cable VGA de 10 metros. Cumple, no le pidais maravillas, por que milagros no hace.

Excellent HDMI to VGA adapter for monitors and projectors

I bought this HDMI to VGA adapter to connect my laptop's HDMI output to an older NEC digital projector with a VGA input. The build quality is excellent, the cable thickness just right and not too flimsy. It worked perfectly! Also works fine with an older HP flat screen monitor. Star Tech makes excellent cable adapters.
