Rain Design mTower Vertical Laptop Stand(10037) Silver

I bought this just to see if it would work for a surface book since I liked the design. Obviously this is designed for apple products so I can't knock it for not working with something from microsoft but I can definitely give credit to these guys since there is enough here to make it work. The surface book won't work here with the hinge side down since it is thicker on that end so you will either get a very loose fitting when putting your laptop in the stand or you can't get the thick part through the adjustment pads. I wanted this way to work so mt charging port would be closer to the desk and I could easily connect a charging cable while having it out of the way. I did have to flip it the other direction and it works pretty well. The product comes with a bunch of adjusting pads that slot in super easily. You can mix and match pads to get it to work for I assume most laptops. Some of the pads even come with a second thinner pad attached to them which you can peel off and use the thinner portion if needed, I'm sure this ends up making them similar (or exact) in size to other pads already provided but I messed around with the pads so much I couldn't remember which was which. Credit to this product again though as changing out the pads over and over was super forgiving and there is no pressure to get it right the first time.

I used it to help tidy up my home office setup, very sturdy and promotes good air flow for your laptop.

Sogar die Farbe ist nahezu identisch mit der eines MacBooks in "Space Grau". Es befinden sich genug "Abstandshalter" im Lieferumfang, um vermutlich jedes MacBook sicher einzuschieben (mit meinem 14" MPB Pro M2 hat es einwandfrei funktioniert). Vielleicht einziges minimales Manko für absolute Designliebhaber: Aufgrund der Bauart (Form der Halterung, Position des "Lüftungsschlitzes") kann man ein MacBook letztendlich nur in eine Richtung einlegen - so wie auf den Produktbildern zu sehen ist.

This just works. There's not much else to say. You don't get scratches on your laptop, the laptop doesn't move about, and it looks good. Not many complaints, but one thing I'd like is the ability to use multiple MacBooks with this. I have a 16in MacBook Pro and a 13in MacBook Pro. Once I decided I wanted the 16in to use this stand, it's not so easy to remove the pads to protect the MacBook so you can insert the pads that work with the 13in laptop. Essentially, you are forced to use this stand with only one laptop (unless you have two laptops of the same size). As a singular laptop stand, it's great.
