Not one to leave reviews but it’s such an awesome expansion of screen real estate for a good price and in a practical form factor. Super stoked to expand my work laptop daily working fields for spreadsheets or maps. A little heavy if you wanted to carry around along with a laptop (papers read it’s 4 lbs; definitely feels solid folded up), but I’m indifferent as this probably just lives on the desk. I do front the wall based on my own home office layout so looking above my laptop screen feels really functional and my neck appreciates the ergonomics. Some people reviewed a whirring or high pitch sound when the screen was powered on, but I didn’t notice any perceptible sound even with a low speed ceiling fan on above me. I’d even but a second one of these. Best part, it arrived super fast and well packaged, so thanks for that seller.

The media could not be loaded. Extremely disappointed. I had high hopes but looks as if this unit is dead on arrival. My search for the best place extended display for my Mac lives on.

I had this product for about 3 months when the USB cable started not working sometimes. It was outside the Amazon assisted return period however I emailed the company and explained my issue and they sent me a replacement cord immediately with no hesitation! Cord works perfectly!

I love using it for work, but not as convenient/portable at the same time. 1. Many reviews mentioned noise. I have the same like a sizing sound on the left bottom corner. Mind you, this monitor doesn't come with a speaker - so totally not from it. 2. Wire glitches - so the total reason I bought this if portability and ergo. I find that when I move the workstation at home and plug in back the usb-c it won't turn on right away and I have to do some troubleshooting almost every time. 2. I find it heavier than all portable monitors than my Samsung 16-inch laptop. Due to this, you can feel it in your bag if you take it with you 3. It's not easy to put on; magnets are not strong enough for such weight, typically detached when it's on, and I try to open my laptop 4. Brightness, it depends on the day. If you are outside it is quite hard to see. If you work at home with curtains on or blinds it is good. It is great at night too as it does not give me eye strain. 5. The touchscreen can be finicky sometimes - I have to reset and do the troubleshooting (from CS email) twice in a span of 3 to 4wks 6. it makes me question the item's longevity and scares me a bit for early signs of tech probs. What I love about Float is the design as it is stacked on the top of my laptop. I love that the screen is matte, not glossy. I love that it has bypass charging I love that it looks solid and the hinges are durable, but I am sure they can improve a lot from this like they did on the first trio screen. I love the idea I invented that I simultaneously can use this with my duex max . I first attached duex max on my laptop lid. Second I discovered I can attach duex max to duex float where the placement of magnets are and have TWO screens on one side (duex float and duex max at the bottom of the float) while I rest my laptop on the right side!!! I sent them pictures in IG And FB to show how ergo it is and cool but got no response. Duex max is brighter than float though. I am not sure why they do not have the same brightness capabilities across those products. I would consider purchasing this in a heartbeat once all of these issues are resolved

It’s a bit cumbersome to set up and quite heavy but the main reason I returned this is because it has a buzz when it’s on. If you don’t notice high pitched noises or aren’t bothered by it then go for it. It’s much easier on the neck then a side by side and takes up less space which was very appealing to me. The weight was also a bit of an issue for me. I travel for work and this was a bit too heavy for my liking.
