Works perfect - Allowed me to hide the power cord in the back of the desk.

I bought two of these cords to extend the power cords of my studio monitors. They connect securely and do their job. Extending the cords on the device side allows narrower and more secure connections compared to extension cords which would be on the wall outlet side.

I own an arc welder that requires a water-cooled torch. The welder features a switched accessory outlet intended to power the water cooler. This cable is ideal, and uses the IEC C13 & C14 connector set exactly like the old IBM PC did when providing switched power to the monitor. I doubt it's very popular anymore, but for my situation it was perfect in both features and length.

Some computers may provide a socket that's usually located directly next to the socket that gets power from a wall outlet or uninterruptible power supply [UPS.] That other socket on the computer can be used with a product like this one to provide power to a compatible monitor, giving you an extra wall or UPS outlet. Be careful, particularly when you do this with a UPS, that you don't overload the power source. Whatever devices you plug into a UPS, be sure it can handle what you plug into it. Anyway, this product is just what I needed and is the right length for what I need it for. If I need another, I'll order another.
