Great quality cord! I play music professionally & over the last few years, I've replaced all of my power cords with Tripp Lite brand. They've been treating me very well. They're quite sturdy & durable. I always get the 15A heavy duty cords, hospital grade if they have them in the specs that I'm wanting. From an electrical standpoint, is better to have a cord with a higher amp rating than a lower one. The machine that the cord is plugged into will draw as much amperage as it needs & return the rest, but if you don't have enough going to it, the machine may not work properly.
