This does exactly what it's supposed to do. I had a much more expensive QNAP switch with exact same features, but it died after 2 years of usage. This one does exact same thing for 1/3 of the price. If this product doesn't break after 2 years of usage, I'm going to become a long-term fan. I won't go back to QNAP, that's for sure.

First, you don't really know how good a switch is until years later when the ports start going bad one at a time. I have not owned this switch long enough to tell you how reliable it will be. Second, I do not have the ability to do proper speed testing on this. The few devices I have with 10gbps ethernet are simply not going to saturate that connection. Ever. Heck, I'm not sure I can saturate 2.5gbps. Third, I'm still a couple of switches short of having a "backbone" on my home ethernet between the two devices in my house that have 10gbps ethernet. I'm mostly doing that for future-proofing. Anyway, in my personal experience, ports on TRENDnet switches take longer to go bad than cheaper consumer-grade switches, particularly those cheaper Netgear switches with the white plastic casing. Ick. All I can really say is that I have had no connection issues in the month that I have owned this thing.

Very good product, it delivers the full 10GB speeds

Perfect "plug & play", worked immediately out of the box. No issues.

Fan is a bit loud when first turned on, but it slows down quickly. So far, so good.
