The RocketStor 6430TS series are HighPoint’s most advanced external SAS/SATA RAID Storage Solutions. The robust, compact and portable 4 and 8-bay tower enclosures are capable of supporting up to eight 2.5”/3.5” 12Gb/s SAS or 6Gb/s SAS/SATA hard drives in one or more RAID configurations, and up to 160TB of storage capacity. Newly redesigned and portable! The RocketStor 6430TS series enclosures feature a brand-new chassis architecture making for a lighter, more rugged and durable enclosure that also helps to promote better heat dissipation. In addition, the enclosure now features a sturdy frame mounted carrying handle for easy portability. Freedom of Choice Taking an “open box” approach to storage, customers are free to use their choice of SAS or SATA drive from any of the major drive brands. The RocketStor 6430TS comes equipped with up to eight hot-swappable drive trays capable of supporting 2.5” and 3.5” 12 Gb/s SAS and 6Gb/s SAS/SATA drives of any capacity. Integrated LCD Panel for Temperature Monitoring and Fan Control Each RocketStor 6430TS features a built in LCD panel that displays the enclosure’s environmental conditions in real-time. By default, the enclosure’s cooling fans will run in “Smart Mode” meaning they will adjust themselves on the fly to keep the systems temperature in check. Users that want a more hands-on approach can utilize the LCD panel to quickly assess the temperature of the storage configuration, then specify the fan control mode and manually adjust the fan speed to ensure the drives stay healthy and run optimally. The enclosure also features a built-in buzzer alarm that can be set to activate in case the temperature reaches a certain threshold or other drive related issues occur. Versatile RAID options The new 12 Gb RocketStor 6434TS/RS648TS utilizes SFF-8644 MiniSAS ports to directly support up to 8 SAS/SATA HDD or SSDs in one or more RAID Storage configurations. Working in tandem with our industry proven RAID controllers, the RocketStor 6430TS series are capable of supporting a multitude of different RAID levels including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, JBOD, and single drive configurations. Easy to use RAID Management Suite In addition to being supported on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, the RocketStor 6430TS series utilizes the latest version of our web based and command-line management suite. This program allows novices and experts to quickly and easily configure different RAID levels that best suit their intended application.
