GIGABYTE GP-UD750GM 750W 80 Plus Gold Certified Fully Modular Power Supply

This was my first time buying a PSU from Gigabyte and I was upgrading my Graphics Card. I was a little hesitant considering I've read on Reddit and other places that there were some Gigabyte models that caught on fire, etc. (I'm sure you may have heard about them) After doing some research, I've discovered that the problem was discovered and rectified. That was an older model. They fixed the problem and re-worked the design and released this model and named it UD for "Ultra Durable". As of the writing of this review I have had NO problems with my 750 watt PSU. It came with all cables I needed and is fully modular. Everything hooked up and installed like a breeze. If anything, I would think since that happened in the past, they would make SURE that these PSUs were good considering the scrutiny they would face. Everything I've seen from this PSU has been nothing but good. Feels and looks like a quality PSU should. I can definitely recommend this model. This PSU got a "B" score on the PSU tier list and is one of the most affordable Gold rated ones you can buy from a reputable brand made with quality components. If anything happens I will update but so far so good!

Superb SMPS. My first fully modular SMPS for PC too. It has all the cables included in the box. New Cabinets with LEDs draw power from a ATX power line , so ensure to plug that LED controller SATA power cable on the same power bus that feeds your SATA HDD's. If using high-end processors like i9, connect both 2x4 & 2x2 CPU power input's on MB for better performance. Box includes 2 2x4 CPU cables, you can split one of the cable in 2 x 2x2 & use. Back cover of the box shows what cables are included with the SMPS.

loudest psu ive had but real good option for powerfull build

I upgraded from a gaming laptop to a PC, and this graphics card (recommended by a friend) runs like absolute trash. On games from a decade ago, I'll get 30 frames. I have a great CPU and 32gb RAM yet when I have tabs open it freaks out. Overall, I may have received a defective one, because it's completely awful. It might be because of the random brand, but either way don't risk wasting the $250
