Quiet and powerful. You can’t go wrong with Be Quiet brand equipment

My old Platinum Seasonic 760wt PSU couldn't handle the power spikes of my new RTX 3080, needed a quiet and high quality ATX 3.0 PSU and this one was perfect! Titanium rating ensures super efficient and clean operation at the highest standard, and this BeQuiet model achieves this with flying colors. It hasn't had a single problem handling my RTX 3800 & 13700k CPU. Not sure about the complaints about the fan noise, I can't hear mine over my CPU fan noises, which is a Noctua NH-D15 and is already super quiet on idle. I even had to check the PSU fan was spinning because it's so quiet! I read some of the early BeQuiet DarkPower 13 PSUs had fan issues, but the subsequent models fixed it.

Do not use this power supply for any current generation PC build. The connectors on it are extremely cheap and very difficult to get them to snap in. On top of that it doesn't come with with enough 8 pin power connectors to power a modern day 4000 series video card. Why bother having the slots on your power supply if you are too cheap to even provide the cables to fill them out.

I think some of these may have been shipped with bad fans looking at the other reviews as the unit I just received is almost completely silent on power up and idle. The fan does do a quick pulse to 100% on start but it's less than half a second long and only makes a quick 'whooshing air' noise. I haven't noticed any coil whine or other odd noises. Under load it does make some fan noise but it's roughly the same as my machines intake fans (2 Noctua NF-A14 FLX's) so it doesn't really stand out.

The dark power 13 850w unit I got had an obnoxious fine noise even with the system at idle. Given the brands name, I really expected it to be on the same level as Corsair power supplies in absolute silence, but this was not the case for me. When I can hear the fan at idle over my entire system, it’s too loud. Maybe I got a defective unit? I can’t say. Other reviewers here have experienced the same, but your results may vary. The positives are the unit has exceptional build quality and is gorgeous. It feels strange saying a power supply is gorgeous, but aesthetically this power supply really is beautiful. So if you have a build that doesn't hide the power supply in the back of the case, this might be worth looking at, given that you’re not sensitive to fan noise. The cables were great as well. If the fan noise was not there, I would have kept the power supply.
