The sound is full and clear. Most delightful they communicate with my iPhone 14 seamlessly, for example pausing a podcast I'm listening to and telling me if a phone call is coming in and asking me just to say "yes" to answer it, and letting me know if messages are received and even reciting the contents if they are short. And they do all this without me having to do a thing to set them up. Unlike with my former (much less expensive) pair my phone software never tells me that I am exceeding the ear-healthy amount of listening. I'm not an expert so can't tell you why that is but it is good news.
